Schedule vehicle pickup
Once you’ve booked your shipment, you can schedule the date and time of pickup with your assigned carrier. Once the carrier arrives, you will perform a joint inspection and complete a Bill of Lading. They will then load your car and head out. You can follow your vehicle’s progress with our tracking system and receive updates at your chosen frequency.
What should I do to prepare my vehicle for transport?
We recommend you wash your vehicle thoroughly prior to shipping so we can accurately evaluate its condition. You should also remove any toll transponders and personal belongings.
Can I change my first available pick-up date?
If you need to make a change to your first available pickup date, you can do it quickly and easily over the phone or email before or after booking.
What is top load placement?
When you choose open trailer shipping, the hauler has two levels. With top load placement, your vehicle is placed on the second level for better protection.
What is the Bill of Lading and what exactly does it have to do with my shipment?
The Bill of Lading is a document used to record any pre-existing damage to your vehicle prior to shipping. It is also your official transport agreement and contact record. Should you need to file an insurance claim, you will need your Bill of Lading for your records.
Vehicle delivery
Once your vehicle is close to the drop-off location, your carrier will reach out to you to coordinate final arrangements. Once they arrive, you will both perform a thorough inspection to ensure your vehicle is in the same condition as pickup. You can then Sign the Bill of Lading confirming a safe and successful delivery, and you’re done!
When will my vehicle be delivered?
Transit times for delivery are determined mainly by mileage between pickup and drop-off locations. Generally, you can add one day of transit for every 500 miles. So, for a 1,000-mile haul, you can expect delivery within two to three days of pickup.
